Delectable Strawberry Treat
Sweet Bread
Make 6
With tan, form an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join - 6 sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st, join - 12 sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc in next st, 2 sc in next] 6 times, join - 18 sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, [sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next] 6 times, join - 24 sc.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, [sc in next st, 2 sc in next] 12 times, join - 36 sc.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, [sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next] 12 times, join - 48 sc.
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc around, join – 48 sc.
Sew two pieces together with right sides facing out, for a total of 3 slices of sweet bread.
Strawberry
Make 14
With red, form an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 5 sc in ring, join - 5 sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 4 sts, join - 6 sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join - 12 sc.
Rnds 4-5: Ch 1, sc around, join - 12 sc. Fasten off.
Lightly stuff strawberry before gluing.
Whipped Cream
Make 2
These will be sandwiched on the second and third tiers.
Ch 66, dtrc across. Join ends of row together creating a ring.
Top Whipped Cream
Ch 39, dtrc across. Join ends of row together creating a ring.
Assembly
Second and Third Tiers
Spacing them evenly, glue 5 strawberries atop a slice of sweet bread. Place whipped cream between the strawberries. Glue one layer on top of the other.
Top Tier
Glue top whipped cream on third slice of sweet bread. Glue the remaining four strawberries in the center. Glue this last layer atop dessert.
